Tim graduated from the University of Wyoming law school in 1987 at the top of
his class and as editor of the Law Review. He then clerked for a Judge on the
Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for a year in Reno, Nevada.
Since law school, Tim has practiced law in a very broad and diverse range of
areas, including working for the FDIC during the height of the banking crisis
for several years and private practice during the balance of his career. Tim's
specialty is litigation, both civil and criminal. He also focuses on
environmental law, immigration law, constitutional law, employment law, Indian
law, and transactional matters.
Tim is licensed in both Wyoming and Colorado and is able to practice in these
states courts as well as all federal courts and agencies throughout the United
States. Tim is especially proud of his award from the Colorado Bar Association
for his services to indigent and needy clients.
